I was expecting the group to be a lot more active, but I barely got any replies. It kind of made me wonder what I’m really paying for, and if there are extra upsells or hidden fees coming later just to get actual support.

I tried RealLife English to help with my English, it was decent. There were moments where it gave me a little push, especially when I was bored with regular lessons and wanted something different. I liked the idea behind it, but I also felt like some of the platform rules or policies had these little loopholes that made things a bit unclear, which was annoying when I just wanted to focus on learning.

After some time, though, I stopped using it as much. Maybe it works better if you already have a strong routine, but for me it didn’t keep me motivated every day. It’s not a bad service, and I can see how some people would enjoy it, but between losing interest and feeling frustrated by the policy stuff, 3 stars feels about right...

I listen to it here and there, and some episodes are genuinely helpful. Others feel a bit all over the place, so I usually check the topic first before spending time on it. It’s not bad, but I wouldn’t rely on every episode for advice without double-checking things myself.

I signed up hoping my English speaking would get better, but i didn’t really notice much of a change. The lessons felt kind of random to me, and I still got stuck a lot when trying to speak. Maybe it works better for other people, but for me it didn’t really feel worth the time. I was expecting more real practice and clearer feedback. After a few weeks, I just stopped using it.

I wasn’t too happy with the teachers. They seemed unprepared. The lessons were hard to follow. Things just weren’t explained clearly...

Some of the grammar made parts of it hard to follow, so I found myself rereading a few sections to make sure I wasn’t misunderstanding anything. I’m usually cautious about relying on something if the wording isn’t clear, so that made the experience a little frustrating

I gave the subscription a try, but it just didn’t feel worth the monthly price. The content was fine, nothing terrible, but there wasn’t enough there to make me feel good about paying for it every month. I don’t mind paying for something useful, but I think it’s only fair to offer a bit more value if people are being charged regularly. I ended up canceling quickly because it felt too expensive for what I was actually getting.

I found it helpful in some areas, but the pronunciation support really didn’t do much for me. Maybe I’m missing something, but I expected it to be a lot stronger and easier to rely on.

I didn’t feel very safe using this site. The moderation seems weak, and I kept running into stuff that felt sketchy or just off. I’m already tired of having to constantly report things or second-guess whether a platform is looking out for users, so this was frustrating.

Maybe other people get more out of it, but for me it was disappointing.

I was in a good mood checking it out, the free content was useful enough. Nothing mind-blowing, but it did the job and I appreciated having it available.

The words were too basic. Not much to learn.
